The things I've accomplished this week have been in the realm of art, gameplay, and, to my surprise, music.

Art: If UR needs anything, it's ending CGs. I'm doing these animatic style, and I've got the two backgrounds I need for these done and the rough characters in place. I could use a third image, but I don't NEED it, so I'll do that after the deadline of the 27th.

Gameplay: This is the hardest part for me. I've got the new intimate minigame set up and once again can make it to the end of the game again. Tat!. Things have gotten a bit overcomplicated, tho, with at least half the stats not having enough to do. Some of them are for multiple endings I haven't implemented yet, but I don't think I need to have separate stats for pleasure and pain. There's really no reason for the player to be able to INCREASE Pauli's anxiety, except maybe for achievements I may or may not impliment

I think next week after I get the CGs done I might go through and overhaul things so that the flow is smoother. I have an idea for a 'bad ending' that I might be able to implement for the 27th update since I can use some of the same CGs.

One cool thing I did is add some randomization for repetitive dialogue. I'd like to add more of that if I have time.

Music: Wasn't expecting this to happen, but I made a couple of songs! A friend showed me how to use Garage Band on my phone, and even though I have no gift for music I was able to hammer together a couple of moody industrial tracks for the menu music and the end. I'm pleased. I'm trying to write a third for the sexytimes sequence, but moving outside the 'moody industrial' emotional range is a challenge for me.

Things are looking good for me releasing the game I wish I could have released for the jam by August 27th. I'll sure post SOMETHING, even if it isn't everything I wanted.
